With the release of my graphic novel,
ArmorQuest as an ebook, my thoughts are turned to comic art. Not many designers, illustrators or creative directors can admit they worked professionally as a comic book artists. As I've said in the past, it wasn't a smart financial decision for me but the experience did make me a better illustrator and storyteller. The skills comic book art sharpened has definitely influenced and improved my commercial art work. Now whenever a client has a superhero-themed project, I get the call as the "expert". (:
