Triptych

I was commissioned to create these images for three large banners for a friend's church. Apparently not everyone was excited about these huge banners at first, but in the end, the congregation didn't want them taken down. I can't tell you how nice that is to hear.

Sherwin - these are wonderful. It has been probably 25 years since I've seen church banners that felt real and had true artistry in them. I like the old-school-ness of them, yet they feel new and vibrant. (Not that anyone asked me, but I feel they're even more powerful on their own without the text at the bottom...) At any rate, wanted to tell you how cool these are and glad to see another blog of a fellow "local".

Good Luck,

K

These banners look great at a small size, at least. And I love your two page "Cry of the Hungry" story---your best comics work yet, and your most distinctly personal style. Keep it up!

Possibly the only cool church banners I've ever seen before. Beautiful. Your graphic design and illustration skills merge seamlessly on these.
