Dairy Logos
Thanks to a new client, I've been fortunate enough to work on this series of logos based on a style determined earlier. These were a struggle, but I'm happy with how they turned out.
More Icons
I posted some fun icons in the previous post. Most icon projects that come to me are usually a handful. When Target calls, it can be dozens... we even did 170 that will never see the light of day (and I can't show you here). Special thanks to Paul Howalt on these.
Icons
As I've mentioned before, icon work is more difficult than it looks. Making one image look great is a challenge at a small scale... making all of the icons look great in a single style is the difficulty. Thankfully I've been given lots of opportunity to work on it over the years. It is now one of my favorite type of projects to work on for that reason. Here's some examples.
Tattoo
I think tattoos are cool, but I could never get one. For someone like me who changes his mind as often as I do, tattoos are just too permanent.
Some of my illustrations have shown up on skin however. People send me pics of their finished work and I wonder if I shouldn't get some money for that. (: Seriously, it is the biggest compliment to have your work permanently etched into someone's skin.
I did work on a tattoo commission once though. This is the sketch. Thankfully the client decided against it.
